iPhone 4 Coming to Verizon Early February

Beginning February 3rd, existing Verizon customers can pre-order an iPhone 4, and new customers can pre-order Feb 10th. It’s the same pricing as the AT&T iPhone: $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB.

In a surprise move, Verizon is allowing the iPhone 4 to be a mobile Mi-Fi device that can share its 3G connection to up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices. This means your laptop can share your iPhone’s 3G internet connection when a regular connection is not available. However, unlike AT&T, as it is a a CDMA device, you won’t be able to use your 3G internet connection and Voice at the same time (like talking and surfing the web). They have not announced pricing for this feature. With other Verizon phones, it’s $20/month with a 2GB data cap — 5 cents per MB overage fees.
